When leadership expert John Maxwell meets with someone, he will ask several questions to help him learn and grow from their experiences. One of the questions he will ask is:
Who do you know that I should know?
I think it's a great question.
As we face the COVID-19 pandemic, I am frustrated with the hysteria and false information spreading through rumors, the media, and especially social media. Therefore, I want to flip the script and ask you the same question...
Who do you know that I should know?
- What books do you enjoy reading?
- Whose music lifts your spirits?
- What podcast is worth listening to?
Who do you know that I should know? I would love to get your responses.
There is far too much negativity in our world right now. While I'm not trying to avoid reality, I do want to grow in the midst of facing reality.
The Apostle Paul wrote: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (Philippians 4:8)
Paul could write those words because he knew Jesus. After meeting Jesus, Paul spent his entire life trying to introduce others to Him.
